I can't wait to see what happens in the end! Please post more soon! Like it how it parodies your dad's experience with cartoons too!

I kind of envy George's seeing colorful abstract shapes morphing on the screen. Doesn't sound half bad, but considering it's George maybe he would start to hallucinate, and trip out... it would probably be a bad one... maybe a version of Planet of the Apes, considering the evolution angle in the story.

"What the hell is a cartoon, anyway?" Well George, it ain't homework. Cartoons win! Maybe if someone gets violently beaten with a blunt object in the cartoon the picture will come into focus for George.

I like your theory about 'adult brains' not being able to process cartoons.

I think some adults are like dogs. I did an experiment once with my parents' dog where I showed him video of real dogs and he got all excited and started barking at the TV. Then I showed him some of 'Lady and the Tramp' and I got no response. His canine brain couldn't make the jump.
