Grat stuff. Muffatti's one of my favorites as well. Put's fun in every panel. Is that dog magic or what?! Don't get a chance to see his stuff much. Thanks.
Looking at these comic pages, I can say that Steve Muffatti is an excellent cartoonist.
Good sense of anatomy. These guys were all just darned good artists. That panel with the three elephants! Amazing work!
I love how Steve Muffati's drawings have so much life and energy to them, just like some of the Fox and Crow comics I've been reading today. Before this post, I didn't even know he drew comics himself, although I've seen his name on a lot of those Famous cartoons.
I wasn't trying to start another controversy yesterday with that comment of mine. Sometimes, I'm really get excited about commenting, and often times, I don't realize how much crap my own comments can start. Time to wash out my dirty mouth with lots of soap and water...
SparkyMK3, i having the same feeling after watching the Harveytoons DVD for one week. Sure i remember watching it as a kid and loved it but it's stays very formulaic and inferior than even was the WB or MGM cartoons at that time. Besides, watching it for hours can be mortal for eyes.
